Audiobook is a quickly growing market with about 73% (209M) of people in the US over the age of 12 reporting they listened to an audiobook in 2021. Even with fewer people commuting in 2020 due to the pandemic, audiobook sales saw an increase of 17% compared to 2019. Globally, audiobook sales are projected to reach $35 billion by 2030 and are expected to expand at a growth of 26.4% from 2022 to 2030. It is not surprising that the market is becoming more competitive.
