The Unpredictability of Life

We plan and prepare for many things in life, but in reality, life doesn't always go as planned. Many plans get distorted, coincidences occur, and sometimes unexpected accidents or misfortunes add up to our existence.

Imperfections in Art and Life

In this project, unexpected incidents and mistakes that occur in the process of making ceramic works are reproduced. Adversities, hardships, and accidents that one might wish had never happened in life are expressed through this process. The pottery that acquires small flaws or significant damage in the course of this represents the impossibility of a perfect life.

Embracing Flaws

However, what this work ultimately aims to convey is that our lives have to go on despite it all. Instead of getting frustrated by the big and small things in life that don't go my way, I strive to accept them as they are and seek meaning and beauty within them. This project represents my thoughts and approach to life.
